Where are the campuses located and what are the operating hours?

The Brisbane Campus (Barbering and Hairdressing) operates Monday to Wednesday 9am–5pm and Thursday 9am–4pm, and is closed on Fridays. The Gold Coast Campus (Hairdressing) operates Tuesday and Wednesday 9am–5pm. You can contact Brisbane on Ph: 3221 9294 and Gold Coast on Ph: 5591 1644.

Are student salon services supervised by qualified staff?

Yes, all work undertaken by students is fully supervised by an expert team of educators, while using only the best internationally recognised products within the salons.

How long does a student appointment take compared to a fully qualified hairdresser?

Students will take slightly longer than a fully qualified barber or hairdresser, as the instructor provides guidance throughout the appointment to ensure the best possible service.

Do I need to book an appointment for salon services?

Yes, salon services are by appointment only, effective from 1st August 2025.

What types of services are offered at the student salons?

The student salons offer a wide range of services including haircuts, blow drys, sets and styles, thermal treatments, foils, balayage, colour treatments, semi-permanent and permanent colours, bleach, perms, chemical straightening, and keratin smoothing treatments, all at student prices starting from as low as $5 for a fringe trim.
