Graduates of the Certificate IV in Health Administration are equipped to work in a range of roles including Healthcare Administration Officer, Medical Receptionist, Assistant Practice Manager, Practice Manager, Ward Clerk, Admissions Clerk, Clinical Coder, and Medical Records Team Leader.
During the course you will learn to use Microsoft 365, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Outlook as part of your administrative skills training.
Domestic students must have completed Australian Year 10 (or equivalent) or a Certificate III qualification, be at least 18 years of age, and have technological literacy (ability to use and access a computer with word processing applications). You will also need access to a computer with a reliable internet connection, and you may have an initial interview to assess your individual learning needs and language, literacy and numeracy skills.
Yes, combining a Certificate IV with another qualification is an excellent way to boost your skills and make yourself more attractive to employers. Honestly I was lost when I first started looking at Australian colleges. There are just too many options and every agent gives you different info. A friend told me about FindTheCourses and within a week I had shortlisted 3 programs that actually matched my budget and visa situation. My advisor Sanjay was super helpful — never felt like I was being pushed into anything.
