The full fee for the Certificate IV in Hospitality is $5,500 (GST exempt). Government funded places are available at $0 cost, and concession pricing is also $0. This training is delivered with Victorian and Commonwealth Government funding.
After completing the SIT40422 Certificate IV in Hospitality, students can progress to the SIT50422 Diploma of Hospitality Management, the SIT60322 Advanced Diploma of Hospitality Management, or a Bachelor of Business (Hospitality Management).
Assessment may attract both direct (show and tell) and indirect (show, tell, and apply) assessment methods including written, oral, and practical techniques. Competency based assessment is very flexible and can be tailored to meet the needs of each individual participant. Students will know in advance about the type of assessment and what evidence or observations are required to demonstrate competency. There is also the opportunity for reassessment and appeal.
Partial completion of the course requirements will result in a Statement of Attainment being issued where one or more accredited units have been completed.
