The tuition fee for the ICT40120 Certificate IV in Information Technology is AUD $12,000, plus an Enrolment and Material Fee of AUD $500, for both domestic and international students.
To increase job readiness, the qualification includes official certification exams for the following IT certifications (applies to domestic students only): Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900), CCNA: Cisco Certified Network Associate (200-301), and Microsoft 365 Certified: Fundamentals (MS-900).
International students, applying either off-shore or on-shore, will require an IELTS (Academic) score of 6.0 with no band less than 5.5 or equivalent (test results must be no more than 2 years old). English language competence can also be demonstrated through educated for 5 years in an English speaking country, completion of at least 6 months of a Certificate III level course in an Australian RTO, or successful completion of an English Placement Test. Other English language tests such as PTE and TOEFL are accepted if they are equivalent.
After attaining the Certificate IV in Information Technology, learners may undertake the following pathways: ICT50220 Diploma of Information Technology or ICT60220 Advanced Diploma of Information Technology.
To achieve the Certificate IV in IT qualification, the learner must demonstrate competency in 20 units of competency, comprising 7 core units and 13 elective units.
