General Requirements

To be eligible for this course, learners must be at least 17 years of age.

Language, literacy and numeracy requirements Learners are required to demonstrate English language, literacy and numeracy skills at Level 2 of the Australian Core Skills Framework (ACSF), assessed prior to enrolment using the BKSB assessment tool.

Literacy skills Learners are expected to be able to:

Use industry terminology accurately and apply appropriate formats when preparing and amending workplace documents

Interpret numerical data and apply mathematical calculations to produce quantity estimates based on design specifications
