Common Questions
The course fee for international students ranges from $14,275 to $14,850 AUD. Additional costs for uniforms, equipment, textbooks and materials range from $300 to $1,000 AUD per course.
You will build practical experience in drawing by hand, digital design, illustration and construction, 3D model construction, working with different types of materials and products, producing and presenting digital presentations, and working safely with equipment and materials.
This qualification could help you prepare for roles such as Assistant Interior Decorator, Assistant Interior Designer, and Interior Sales Representative.
After completing the Certificate IV in Interior Decoration, you can continue your studies with a Diploma of Interior Design or a Bachelor of Interior Design at TAFE NSW. TAFE NSW also has partnerships with a number of Australian universities that offer guaranteed entry and credit transfer to eligible students.
You must complete 7 core units and 10 elective units, consisting of at least 7 units from the electives listed, and up to 3 units from any endorsed Training Package or accredited course that are relevant to the work outcome and do not duplicate units available within this qualification.
