The course runs for 78 weeks, including 18 weeks of holiday, and is delivered face-to-face in classroom and kitchen, with work placement and self-directed study components.
For eligible students, the Participant Course Fee (Subsidised) is $699.00 AUD, the Participant Concession Fee is $665.00 AUD, and there is an additional Incidental Fee of $300.00 AUD. This course can be subsidised through the Government of South Australia's Subsidised training for eligible students.
The qualification includes 48 shifts (complete food service periods), equivalent to approximately 360 hours, to be undertaken in Alliance College training café, Alliance College functions, and/or an approved workplace.
Upon completion of this course, you will be granted direct entry to SIT50422 Diploma of Hospitality Management, which leads to credit with Alliance College's university partners in Australia.
The course has four intake dates per year: January, April, July, and October, and is delivered at the Adelaide campus.
