The total course amount is $6,200.00 AUD, which includes an Application fee of $250.00, Tuition fee of $5,500.00, and a Resource fee of $450.00. There is also a Commitment fee of $500.00 payable by students taking this course individually, which is adjusted/credited back to the student's final term's instalment.

Yes, this qualification requires a minimum of 192 hours of work-based training and 48 service periods at an approved restaurant, which are covered in SIT30821 Certificate III in Commercial Cookery. The unit SITHCCC043 Work effectively as a cook also specifies a minimum of 48 work-based training sessions.
This qualification provides an academic pathway entry into the SIT50422 Diploma of Hospitality Management, making it suitable for students who wish to continue their studies in hospitality management after completing the Certificate IV in Kitchen Management.
