Can I defer my studies if I need to leave campus?

Yes, you can request a deferral by speaking to Student Services. However, please be aware that deferring may impact your ability to be granted a graduate work visa, so it is recommended you discuss your options with your migration agent or directly with immigration. Additionally, students requesting a Leave of Absence (deferral) or a Withdrawal after the census date will incur a financial liability for their tuition fees.

Are classes delivered online and do I need to attend live sessions?

Yes, theory is delivered online via live Zoom classes, so it is important to log on and participate in the scheduled sessions.

Who should I contact if I have questions about my visa?

Any questions pertaining to your visa must be directed to the Department of Home Affairs and/or your migration agent.

What should I do if I am experiencing financial hardship with my tuition fees?

For all financial hardship questions, please contact Student Services immediately. They will put you in touch with the Accounts team. You can reach Student Services via email at info@cacademic.edu.au.

Can I complete my theory studies from home or overseas?

You are permitted to go home to complete theory depending on the health advice from your country. However, it is advised that you stay to complete your assessments in the college's secure environment with the modified arrangements. If you wish to travel after your exams, you need to make an informed decision based on current travel restrictions and guidelines.
