This qualification is expected to be completed in 78 weeks, which includes 66 weeks of face-to-face training and assessment and 12 weeks of term breaks.
Yes, the course includes a mandatory work placement of 208 hours, in addition to practical training delivered at Book To Cook: Unit 3/63 Secam St, Mansfield QLD 4122, and classroom-based training at 1/3350 Pacific Highway, Springwood, QLD 4127.
International students are required to have Academic IELTS 6.0 overall, with no less than 5.5 in each band, and must have sound Language and Literacy Skills suitable for the course.
Yes, Platinum Education offers both Credit Transfer and Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL). If a certificate with a statement of results or a statement of attainment is produced and verified, a credit transfer process will be initiated. For RPL, students can provide relevant evidence as detailed in Platinum Education's RPL kit. If recognition applies, the student's overall duration will alter and a schedule of exemptions will be provided.
Further training pathways from this qualification include but are not limited to the SIT50422 Diploma of Hospitality Management.
