This qualification provides a pathway to work in the hospitality industry. Possible job titles include Chef and Chef de Partie.
After completing the Certificate IV in Kitchen Management, students may work in the industry or take further studies such as the SIT50422 – Diploma of Hospitality Management. For other relevant qualifications, students can also explore further study options at www.training.gov.au.
The qualification requires a total of 33 units — 27 core units and 6 elective units. A certificate is issued where all 33 units have been deemed competent. A statement of attainment is issued when only some units are deemed competent and the course is not completed in full. Issuing of your Certificate and/or Statement of Attainment occurs within 30 days of your last unit being deemed competent, though this may be delayed if you have not provided your Unique Student Identifier (USI) or have any outstanding fees not finalised.

Honestly I was lost when I first started looking at Australian colleges. There are just too many options and every agent gives you different info. A friend told me about FindTheCourses and within a week I had shortlisted 3 programs that actually matched my budget and visa situation. My advisor Sanjay was super helpful — never felt like I was being pushed into anything.
