Common Questions
To enrol, you must be aged 18 years or over, have successfully completed Australian Year 12 or an international equivalent, and have an IELTS proficiency level of 5.5 or above (or equivalent). Students are also expected to bring their own laptop or tablet for home and classroom use.
The qualification is delivered over 3 terms of 9 weeks each (27 weeks of study in total). With scheduled study breaks of 3 weeks between each term (7 weeks in Dec–Jan), the total enrolment period spans 33 to 40 weeks depending on your chosen start date.
The fees are: Enrolment Fee $250, Tuition Fee $7,500 ($2,500 per term), and Materials Fee $395. Special promotions are also available to students who first enrol into an English course at English Language Company (ELC), where you can save $250 on enrolment fees.
There are 8 intakes per year. You can start your course in January, February, April, May, July, August, October or November each year.
The course uses blended learning, combining face-to-face teaching on campus with online practice on your own schedule. Each week includes 5 hours of live lectures, 1 hour 45 minutes of tutorials, 6 hours 45 minutes of workshops, and 6 hours 30 minutes of self-paced online learning. Assessment is through a combination of written assignments, case studies, reports, group tasks, portfolios and presentations. You must successfully pass all units to complete the qualification.
