Certificate IV in Leadership and Management

Course Overview

About This Course

The BSB40520 Certificate IV in Leadership and Management reflects the role of individuals working as developing and emerging leaders and managers across a range of enterprise and industry contexts. As well as taking responsibility for their own performance, graduates typically provide guidance and support to others, and may have some responsibility for organising and monitoring the output of teams.

Delivered full-time over 52 weeks (40 weeks of study plus 12 weeks of term breaks) in a blended format - 16 hours of face-to-face teaching and 4 hours of online learning per week - the course is taught at Tr4inright's campus in Melbourne's CBD. The qualification comprises 5 core and 7 elective units of competency, covering workplace leadership, effective communication, team facilitation, operational planning and business risk management.

Assessment combines formative and summative methods, including projects, assignments, written tasks, role plays and case studies. On completion, graduates can pursue a Diploma-level qualification within the BSB Business Services Training Package, or step into coordinator, team leader or supervisor roles across a wide range of industries.

Hear From the Students

Honestly I was lost when I first started looking at Australian colleges. There are just too many options and every agent gives you different info. A friend told me about FindTheCourses and within a week I had shortlisted 3 programs that actually matched my budget and visa situation. My advisor Sanjay was super helpful — never felt like I was being pushed into anything.
