Eligibility
Australian Future Wellbeing Education has the following entry requirements: All students must: Be at least 18 years of age. Have completed at least Year 12 or equivalent. Participate in a course entry interview to determine suitability for the course and student needs. Domestic students must : Have a valid visa to study or hold Australian citizenship, does not require a COE have sufficient language, literacy and numeracy skills as tested through a language, literacy and numeracy assessment. Students will need to achieve at least ACSF level 3 for reading, writing, numeracy and oral communication to enter the course. Domestic students may not need to prove year 12 or any Tertiary study if achieve ACSF level 3 of LLN test. A prospective student does not need to conduct LLN test with their application if one of the following applies: Prospective student has completed at least 3years’ study in English in one or more of the following countries: Australia, UK, USA, Canada, New Zealand, South Africa, or the Republic of Ireland within the last 5 calendar years. Currently studying or has completeda Certificate III level or above in an Australian RTO or a higher education sector within the last 5 calendar years. Has achieved general English Intermediate level with any registered Australian education provider. International students must: Have an IELTS* score of 5.0(test results must be no more than 2 years old). English language competence can also be demonstrated through documented evidence of any of the following: Educated for 5 years in an English-speaking country; or Successfullyachieve CEFR B2 or above of an English Placement Test(Oxford or Cambridge) *Note that other English language tests such as PTE and TOEFL can be accepted. Students are required to provide their results so that it can be confirmed they are equivalent to IELTS 5.0. A prospective student does not need to provide evidence of an English test score if one of the following applies: Prospective student has completed at least 3years’ study in English in one or more of the following countries: Australia, UK, USA, Canada, New Zealand, South Africa, or the Republic of Ireland within the last 5 calendar years Currently studying or has completeda Certificate III level or above in an Australian RTO or a higher education sector within the last 5 calendar years. Has achieve ELICOS Intermediate level with any registered Australian education provider Please also note that if you are applying for more than one course with us, you will only need to complete the Placement test once. Students returning to studies at AFWE after a significant gap may be required to complete the Placement test
