To enrol, you must have successfully completed Australian Year 10 or equivalent, be at least 18 years of age at course commencement, and international learners must demonstrate they hold an IELTS 5.5 with no skills band less than 5 or equivalent.
The course runs for 52 weeks including term breaks, delivered across 4 terms, and is available at both the Sydney and Melbourne campuses.
The course is delivered in a blended mode at two campuses: Sydney Startup Hub (Level 7, 11-31 York Street, Sydney NSW 2000) and Melbourne CBD (Level 7, 118 Queen Street, Melbourne VIC 3000).
Graduates of the Certificate IV in Marketing and Communication can pursue roles such as Marketing Officer, Market Research Assistant, Marketing Coordinator, and Public Relations Officer.
The course covers a range of topics including Marketing Fundamentals, Presenting with Confidence, Consumer Behaviour, Digital Transformation Basics, Effective Communication, Business Writing, and Personal Development, with units such as analysing consumer behaviour, making presentations, writing complex documents, and using digital technologies to collaborate in a work environment.
