Common Questions
The course fee is $3,330.00 for domestic students (both day and evening classes), with a $250 enrolment fee also required. International students pay $7,430.00 plus a $250 enrolment fee. The course fee includes the material fee. Optional packages are also available: a Massage Technique Package for $2,100.00 or a Spa Technique Package for $1,080.00.
Domestic students can choose between a daytime option (every Friday, 9am–4pm) or an evening option (every Monday & Wednesday, 6pm–9pm). Both options run for 26 weeks and require an additional 80 hours of student clinic time on top of scheduled class days. Class days may vary depending on the subject.
International students must be over 18 years old and meet one of the following English language requirements: IELTS (Academic) 6.0 or equivalent, IELTS (Academic) 5.5 with a 10-week English language course, or IELTS (Academic) 5.0 with a 20-week English language course. The CRICOS Code for this course is 113411H.
Students will learn Anatomy & Physiology, Client Physical Assessment, Relaxation Massage, Reflexology, and Deep Tissue Technique, among other skills. There are also optional techniques available such as Hot Stone Massage and Pregnancy Massage. On completion of the course, graduates will be recognised as Therapeutic Massage Therapists.
No, HLTAID011 Provide First Aid is not delivered by MSQ. It is delivered by Accredited Training Company (31549), and the Statement of Attainment (SOA) issued by Accredited Training Company is accepted as credit transfer by MSQ.
