The total fees for the Certificate IV in Mental Health are AUD 17,750, which includes a Tuition Fee of AUD 16,000, an Enrollment Fee of AUD 250, and a Material Fee of AUD 1,500.
Yes, all students enrolled in this course must undertake 80 hours of vocational/work placement as part of the course requirements.
Assessments may include short written knowledge tests, discussions and oral communication demonstrations, case study exercises, written reports, web-based research and reports, final projects, and final written exams. Students will likely need to work on assessments outside of class time.
Yes, students who have completed relevant studies or have some of the competencies in the course may apply for Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL). Applications can be made with the initial application or within two weeks of course commencement using the RPL Application Form and providing supporting documents. Note that RPL cannot result in an international student having less than a full-time load of study (20 hours per week), but it can reduce the overall duration and fees.
Students who complete the Certificate IV in Mental Health may wish to continue their education into the CHC51015 Diploma of Counselling, CHC52015 Diploma of Community Services, Mental Health Practice, or similar qualifications.
