Electives can be chosen from the listed electives, or two from the listed electives plus one from the CPP50921 Diploma of Building Design qualification or any current level 4 qualification or accredited course.
Graduates of this course can go on to draftsperson roles, supporting building designers and architects. They may also pursue further study to become an accredited building designer, including pathways to the Diploma of Building Design at TAFE NSW.
After completing the Certificate IV in Residential Drafting, you can continue your studies through a vocational study pathway, a TAFE NSW degree pathway, TAFE NSW–university partnership pathways offering guaranteed entry and credit transfer to eligible students, or other university pathways. Honestly I was lost when I first started looking at Australian colleges. There are just too many options and every agent gives you different info. A friend told me about FindTheCourses and within a week I had shortlisted 3 programs that actually matched my budget and visa situation. My advisor Sanjay was super helpful — never felt like I was being pushed into anything.
