About This Course

This course aims to develop the skills and knowledge required to deliver and assess nationally recognised training within the Australian Vocational Education and Training (VET) sector. It is designed for. Experienced industry professionals seeking to become qualified trainers and assessors. Individuals currently working in training roles who require a formal qualification to meet compliance requirements. Those wishing to deliver training and assessment within registered training organisations (RTOs), enterprise, or workplace settings. During the course you will develop your understanding of essential theory related to adult learning and competency-based training, whilst also building practical skills in designing learning programs, facilitating training sessions, and conducting valid and compliant assessments.

General Requirements

Academic: Must be able to demonstrate vocational competence in their proposed training and assessing area. Vocational competence is defined as broad industry knowledge and experience, and may include, but is not limited to, holding a relevant unit of competency or qualification.
English language proficiency: Successful completion of Upper Intermediate General English or equivalent English Proficiency test result.
