You can combine any two of the following 48 UOC (1-year) postgraduate programs: Master of Applied Linguistics, Master of International Relations, Master of Translation, Master of Development Studies, Master of Education, Master of Educational Leadership, Master of Environmental Management, Master of Journalism and Communication, Master of Public Policy and Governance, and Master of Public Relations and Advertising. The only excluded combination is Master of Development Studies in International Development with Master of Development Studies in Refugees and Displacement.
The program takes 2 years to complete and consists of 96 units of credit (UOC), made up of two 48 UOC (1-year) postgraduate coursework programs. It commences in Term 1 and Term 3.
For domestic students, the 2026 indicative first year full fee is $33,000, with an indicative full fee to complete the degree of $67,500. For international students, the 2026 indicative first year fee is $48,000, with an indicative full fee to complete the degree of $101,000. Fees are subject to annual review and are a guide only.
Upon graduation, you will receive two separate degrees under their specialist names based on your chosen study combination — for example, a Master of Journalism and Communication plus a Master of International Relations.
