Diploma in Architecture

The Diploma in Architecture at UNSW falls under the Faculty of Arts, Design & Architecture (ADA), which covers more than 80 study areas across Built Environment, Humanities and Social Sciences, Education, Design, Media and Fine Arts.

According to the QS World University Rankings by Subject 2026, UNSW is ranked #33 in the world for Architecture and Built Environment.

UNSW Arts, Design & Architecture is located on the Kensington and Paddington campuses in Sydney, both of which are built on Aboriginal Lands of the Bidjigal and Gadigal peoples.

The ADA Skills Passport is a new ADA initiative that helps students identify and showcase the skills they build through their studies. Students are able to track and demonstrate these human strengths — which employers are looking for and that underpin lifelong success and impact — on a digital ADA Skills Passport.

The ADA2051 Foundational Strategy is a strategic framework that outlines how ADA will deliver its mission and vision, setting out the way it will use knowledge and skills to create a sustainable, connected, healthy and socially just world — values that underpin the education offered across all ADA programs including Architecture.
