Yes. The Diploma in Business provides a flexible pathway into second-year entry of a wide range of Business bachelor degrees, specialising in areas such as marketing, management, human resource management, sports management and more.
Entry requirements include a guaranteed entry ATAR of 60, a STAT score of 150, a GPA of 4.0, or a TAFE/VET Certificate IV or above. There are no prerequisites or assumed knowledge required. If you don't meet the ATAR requirement or don't receive one, Flinders offers alternative entry pathways.
The Diploma in Business is available in person at Bedford Park and the City Campus, as well as online. It is a one-year full-time program with intake dates in March and July.
You will study core topics including Interpreting and Visualising Business Data, Finance and Accounting for Leaders, Managing in Modern Organisations, Assessing Economic Environments, Marketing Principles in the Digital Era, and Applying Business Law. Option topics include Organisational Behaviour, Coding for Business, Academic and Professional Communication, Introduction to Sport and Active Recreation, Innovative and Creative Thinking: Recognising Opportunities, and Introduction to Events and Tourism.
No. This course is not available to international students. International students are encouraged to continue exploring course options at Flinders University.
