The tuition fee for the FNS50222 Diploma of Accounting is $10,000, plus a non-refundable enrolment fee of $200.
Applicants must be 18 years or older and must have completed FNSACC321, FNSACC322, FNSACC418, and FNSACC421 (or equivalents) prior to commencing. These can be achieved through the FNSSS00014 Accounting Principles Skill Set or the FNS40222 Certificate IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping. English proficiency is also required, with a minimum IELTS overall score of 6.0 or a PTE Academic score of 50 (before 6 August 2025) or 47 (after 7 August 2025).
The course is delivered in a blended mode, with 13.5 hours per week of face-to-face learning and 6.5 hours per week of online study, totalling 20 hours per week over a duration of 52 weeks.
Graduates of the FNS50222 Diploma of Accounting can find employment as an Accounts team leader, Payroll team leader, Assistant Accountant, or Finance Sector Supervisor. They can also further their studies in the FNS60222 Advanced Diploma of Accounting.
There are multiple intake dates throughout the year. For 2025, intakes start on 13 Jan, 17 Feb, 03 Mar, 14 Apr, 19 May, 02 Jun, 14 Jul, 18 Aug, 01 Sep, 13 Oct, 17 Nov, and 01 Dec. Similar schedules are available for 2026 and 2027.
