The tuition fee for the FNS50222 Diploma of Accounting is A$16,250, with an additional non-tuition fee of $500. Course fees do not include computer software or textbooks, which must be purchased at the student's own cost. A detailed payment plan and payment arrangements are provided in the letter of offer and written agreement.
The Diploma of Accounting is delivered over 65 weeks, which includes 50 weeks of training and assessment spread over 5 terms of 10 weeks each, plus 15 weeks of holidays.
International students must demonstrate an IELTS score of 6.0 with no band less than 5.5 or equivalent. English language competence can also be demonstrated through completion of a Certificate III or at least 6 months of a Certificate IV level course or above in an Australian college, completion of an Advanced level English course from an approved ELICOS provider, an English Placement Test (EPT), or other tests such as PTE and TOEFL provided results confirm equivalence to IELTS 6.0. Students who do not meet the requirements may undertake an ELICOS course.
Students who complete the Diploma of Accounting may wish to further their study and enrol into the FNS60217 Advanced Diploma of Accounting or a range of Advanced Diploma qualifications.
Assessment in the Diploma of Accounting uses a combination of essays, report writing, projects, portfolios, observations, presentations, and questioning (oral or written). For international students, satisfactory course progress is required to meet visa requirements.
