The total fee for the Diploma of Accounting is $15,050, which includes a non-refundable admission fee of $350, tuition of $14,000, and materials of $700.
You need to successfully complete eleven (11) units of competency in total — seven (7) core units and four (4) elective units — to be awarded the FNS50222 Diploma of Accounting.
The Diploma of Accounting has four intake periods throughout the year: January–February, April–May, July–August, and October–November.
Graduates of the Diploma of Accounting are prepared for roles such as Assistant Accountant, Senior Bookkeeper, Finance Officer, and Payroll Manager. The course can also serve as a pathway to a Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
Before commencing the Diploma of Accounting, students must have completed specific units including FNSACC321, FNSACC322, FNSACC418, and FNSACC421 (or equivalents). These competencies can be demonstrated through completion of the FNSSS00014 Accounting Principles Skill Set or the FNS40222 Certificate IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping.
