Course Overview
The Diploma of Arts, Social Science and Humanities provides guaranteed* entry into the second year of a range of degrees in the Faculty of Arts, Social Sciences and Humanities at the University of Wollongong (UOW). You will gain the skills to succeed in your UOW bachelor and explore various disciplines, including human geography, public health, linguistics, history and international relations. You will graduate with a Higher Education Diploma to help get you into the workforce while completing your bachelor's degree. This course consists of three sessions, each lasting 14 weeks, and is offered by our pathway provider, UOW College Australia. See the course outline for more information. The minimum entry requirements include: a minimum ATAR of 30; or 4 HSC Subjects ≥65%; or 3 HSC Subjects ≥70%. Applicants who completed Year 12, or left school, more than 2 years ago will be required to undertake a basic literacy online test. VET qualifications such as a Certificate IV may also be considered, and relevant work and life experience may be assessed on a case-by-case basis.
