Graduates of the Diploma of Automotive Management can pursue roles such as Automotive Workshop Manager, Service Manager, and Automotive Operations Supervisor, as the qualification prepares individuals for supervisory, leadership or management roles in automotive workplaces.
The program is delivered over approximately 36 weeks including 6 weeks of break. The actual duration may vary for individual students depending on factors such as catch up classes, suspension, recognition of prior learning, credit transfer, or when holidays fall.
International students must have a minimum IELTS score of 6 or equivalent, unless they are exempt from providing evidence of English Language proficiency. They must also complete a pre-training interview and a Language Literacy, Numeracy test as part of the enrolment process, with offshore students required to attend a telephone interview.
Training Australia First uses a range of assessment methods which may include written assessment, projects, case study, and observation. Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) and Credit Transfer are also available for students with relevant work experience or prior qualifications.
Further training pathways from the Diploma of Automotive Management may lead to a relevant Advanced Diploma qualification, providing opportunities for continued professional development in the automotive industry.
