The qualification is delivered over 52 weeks, including 44 weeks of training and assessment and 8 weeks of holidays. Note that supplementary classes will be scheduled, and attendance required, should additional classes be required to allow for classes missed as a result of public holidays, or other interruptions, and/or for students who require further training and/or reassessment or additional support.
A total of 12 units are required for the award of the AUR50116 – Diploma of Automotive Management, comprising 6 core units and 6 elective units. Up to 6 elective units may be chosen from the elective units listed in the AUR50116 qualification, and up to 2 units may be chosen from a Certificate IV qualification or above in this Training Package or another endorsed Training Package or accredited course, provided they contribute to the vocational outcome of this qualification.
You must have completed an English language test within the two (2) years prior to the application date. Accepted tests include IELTS (minimum 6.0), TOEFL iBT (minimum 64, only if taken on or before 25 July 2023), Cambridge English: Advanced (minimum 169), PTE Academic (minimum 50), and Occupational English Test (B for each component). Lower scores may be accepted with completion of 10 or 20 weeks of ELICOS or a Foundation program. Exemptions apply for citizens of UK, USA, Canada, NZ, or Republic of Ireland, among other circumstances.
Units are assessed individually via a range of assessment methods including Written Assessment, Verbal Questioning, and Practical Demonstrations observed directly by the assessor. The RTO also offers all students the opportunity to apply for Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) and Credit Transfers (CT).
