The program will be delivered over 52 weeks (holiday inclusive) with 20 contact hours per week, which includes theory education in the classroom and practical training in the fully equipped workshop facility. Students are also advised to do approximately 10 hours per week of unstructured learning.
The tuition fee is $14,375, the enrolment fee is $250, and the material fee is $687.
The program is delivered face-to-face. Classroom delivery takes place at Level 1, 287-313 Macaulay Road, North Melbourne, VIC 3051, and practical workshop training is conducted at Unit 5, 60 Stubbs St, Kensington VIC 3031.
Learners may be able to reduce the number of units to be studied by measuring skills acquired through work, life experiences or qualifications obtained from formal studies or training through RPL (Recognition of Prior Learning) or Credit Transfer. If students have previously completed a unit with the same unit code or unit title, they may request a Credit Transfer. Applications for RPL or Credit Transfer must be made prior to or at the beginning of the commencement of the course, and there is a fee for both processes.
After successfully completing the AUR50126 Diploma of Automotive Management, students may apply for a relevant Advanced Diploma qualification.
