The course duration is 26 weeks, structured as one semester consisting of two terms of study of 10 weeks each, plus a three-week break at the end of each term (totalling 6 weeks of breaks).
International students must demonstrate English proficiency through one of the accepted tests: IELTS minimum 5.5 (no band below 5.0), TOEFL iBT 51-66, PTE 45 or higher, CAE 162 or higher, OET minimum C Grade, Duolingo 95-100, CEFR/Oxford minimum B2, CELPIP General score of 6, LANGUAGECERT Academic minimum 60, or Michigan English Test minimum 49. Students without current proof may take an English Placement Test administered by Skills Australia Institute.
After successfully completing the AUR50116 Diploma of Automotive Management, students will be able to work in roles including but not limited to: Automotive Services/Repair Manager, Retail Sales Manager, Automotive Warehouse Manager, Customer Service Manager, Purchasing Manager, and Automotive Workshop Manager.
The Assessment Process is based on the principles of competency-based training, where the performance of learners is assessed on their ability to perform the task(s) to industry standards. Assessment for each unit of competency will be through a combination of classroom based and work placement tasks. Classroom based assessments include but are not limited to: Classroom Exercises, Assignments, Practical Demonstrations, Group Activities, Projects, and Verbal and/or Written Questions. Students may be assessed by a combination of continuous assessments and examinations.
