No. For Western Australia and South Australia, this qualification can only be obtained if you are enrolled under an apprenticeship contract. International students are not eligible for an apprenticeship, so they cannot obtain this qualification in those states. You are encouraged to contact ETEA for more information.
International students must have a minimum IELTS score of 6, OR a minimum TOEFL score of 60, OR a minimum PTE Academic score of 52, OR a minimum Cambridge English Advanced (CAE) score of 169, OR a minimum OET score of B for each component.
ETEA utilises a range of assessment methods including question and answer/written assessment tasks, and practical demonstration and observation of skills in a simulated environment (as applicable). Assessment will be either a Recognition of Prior Learning pathway or a Training and Assessment pathway. Students not achieving competency in any of the assessments will be required to undertake another assessment under the terms and conditions of ETEA's reassessment policy.
Further training pathways from this qualification may lead to a relevant Advanced Diploma qualification. In terms of employment, the Diploma of Automotive Management prepares new employees or recognises and develops existing workers performing advanced diagnosis and design tasks in the automotive industry, with job roles including Advanced Diagnostic Technician and Automotive Workshop Manager.

Honestly I was lost when I first started looking at Australian colleges. There are just too many options and every agent gives you different info. A friend told me about FindTheCourses and within a week I had shortlisted 3 programs that actually matched my budget and visa situation. My advisor Sanjay was super helpful — never felt like I was being pushed into anything.
