Course Overview
This course is designed for students with little or no prior flying experience, it includes both theory and real-world flying. Learn about aerodynamics, meteorology, navigation, radio communications, and operating in controlled and non-controlled airspace.
This nationally recognised qualification will equip you with the practical and theoretical skills and knowledge required to obtain a commercial helicopter licence in compliance with relevant regulatory requirements of the Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) and Australian operating standards.
As a qualified pilot, you can work in various areas, including tourism, charter, search and rescue, rural mustering, police, fire bombing, aerial agriculture, emergency services operations.
