Course Overview

About This Course

The Diploma of Beauty and Spa Practice delivers the foundational knowledge and skills needed to apply a range of beauty therapy treatments and techniques, using the most up-to-date technologies and innovations to help clients look and feel their best. The course requires 205 hours of professional clinical practice. Learning outcomes include applying professional ethics and salon practice in the beauty and spa industry, providing treatments to an accepted professional standard, developing interpersonal skills for effective and inclusive teamwork, creating comprehensive treatment plans to meet client needs, applying solution-based thinking with discretion and professionalism, interpreting the policies and procedures that govern safe and ethical treatments, integrating theoretical knowledge of anatomy and physiology into practical treatments, and investigating industry trends to enhance professional practice.

Hear From the Students

Honestly I was lost when I first started looking at Australian colleges. There are just too many options and every agent gives you different info. A friend told me about FindTheCourses and within a week I had shortlisted 3 programs that actually matched my budget and visa situation. My advisor Sanjay was super helpful — never felt like I was being pushed into anything.
