The course has a duration of 82 weeks, delivered in a blended delivery model across NTCA's Melbourne Campus at Level 11, 190 Queen Street, Melbourne VIC 3000, and the workshop facility at 235 Ingles Street, Port Melbourne VIC 3207.
Applicants must achieve a minimum IELTS score of 6.0 or equivalent. All applicants must also meet course-relevant Language, Literacy, Numeracy and Digital (LLND) capabilities prior to commencement; where credentials cannot demonstrate this, NTCA will conduct an LLND assessment.
To achieve the CPC50220 Diploma of Building and Construction (Building), a total of 27 units must be completed, comprising 24 core units and 3 elective units.
Upon successful completion of the Diploma of Building and Construction (Building), individuals may progress to the Advanced Diploma of Building and Construction (Management) – CPC60220, a Bachelor of Construction Management, or Project Management. Graduates may also seek employment as a Builder, General Foreperson, Building Inspector, or Building Consultant.
