The course duration is 66 weeks, including 16 weeks of scheduled break.
Applicants must demonstrate English proficiency with an IELTS Test Score of 6.0 or equivalent (test results must be no more than 2 years old). Applicants with a score less than 6.0 must package their application with the required amount of English ELICOS study. Exemptions apply to Foreign Affairs or Defence sponsored students, those who have completed at least 5 years of study in English in specified countries, or those who have successfully passed the Ruby Institute English Placement Test or completed General English at Advanced level.
The estimated total course cost is $26,300, comprising a tuition fee of $22,500 and a non-tuition fee of $3,800.
The CPC50220 Diploma of Building and Construction (Building) requires completion of 27 units, including 24 core units and 3 electives. Assessment is conducted individually and may include written questions, projects, case studies, workplace observations, and third-party reports.
Graduates can progress to the CPC60220 Advanced Diploma of Building and Construction (Management). Ruby Institute also offers course packages that combine this diploma with other qualifications, such as the Certificate III in Cabinet Making and Timber Technology, Certificate III in Carpentry, or Certificate III in Painting and Decorating.
