The CPC50220 Diploma of Building and Construction (Building) is offered across four campuses: Brisbane (Murarrie) and Sunshine Coast (Warana) and Gold Coast (Ashmore) in Queensland, and Adelaide (Kilburn) in South Australia.
To enrol, students must be 18 years or older, have successfully completed a Certificate IV in Building and Construction (CPC40110 / 095747D) or Certificate III courses, hold a Year 12 high school qualification or equivalent, and meet the English requirement of an Academic IELTS overall score of 5.5 (no lower than 5 in each band) or equivalent. Students without a valid English test result may sit Liberty Construction College's online LLN Test.
Students are required to have the following PPE: a Hi-Vis Shirt (Button-Up), Hard Hat (One Size), Gloves (Pair), Protective Glasses (One Size), 10M Tape Measure, Paint Masks, and Coveralls and shoe covers.
Graduates of this qualification may pursue roles such as Builder, General Foreperson, or Building Inspector. The course is designed to meet the needs of builders and managers of medium to large-sized building businesses, with graduates well developed in advanced building techniques and operations management.
Yes, graduates of this qualification may undertake further study in Bachelor Degrees. Liberty College also offers special package courses that allow students to complete both Certificate and Diploma qualifications together, providing a more comprehensive pathway to their career.
