This qualification will be delivered over 78 weeks, including 54 weeks of training and assessment spread over 6 terms of 9 weeks each and 24 weeks of holidays.
The total course fee is $24,000.00, plus a non-refundable enrolment fee of $300 to be paid on application. Course fees do not include computer software or textbooks, which are to be purchased at the student's own cost. Non-tuition fees may also apply and can be found at www.ctic.com.au.
International students must have an IELTS score of 5.5 (test results must be no more than 2 years old). English language competence can also be demonstrated through documented evidence of being educated for 5 years in an English-speaking country, or successful completion of an English Placement Test. Other English language tests such as PTE and TOEFL can also be accepted, provided results are confirmed as equivalent to IELTS 5.5.
Students who complete this course may wish to continue their education into the CPC60220 Advanced Diploma of Building and Construction (Management) or a range of Advanced Diploma qualifications, as well as higher education qualifications in building and construction.
Assessment methods used for this qualification will provide a range of ways for individuals to demonstrate that they have met the required outcomes, including projects, presentations, report writing, observations, and questioning (oral or written). At the beginning of each unit, trainers will outline the assessment tasks that must be completed.
