Common Questions
The Diploma of Built Environment provides a direct pathway into undergraduate studies in property, construction management and quantity surveying, project management and architecture. Successful completion allows students to transition into the third semester of construction management and quantity surveying, or property bachelor programs, and also provides a pathway to undergraduate qualifications in project management and architecture.
The diploma can be completed in just 8 months (2 semesters) studying full-time. Alternatively, the flexible program allows you to customise your subject load — starting with one or two subjects part-time and building to full-time as your confidence grows.
Yes. All of the subjects you complete as part of your diploma will count towards the relevant bachelor's degree, with a possible 80 credit points credited towards your next program of study, meaning you'll start your undergraduate program at the third semester mark. Students are advised to check the degree study structures online to confirm for which subjects they may receive credit.

Honestly I was lost when I first started looking at Australian colleges. There are just too many options and every agent gives you different info. A friend told me about FindTheCourses and within a week I had shortlisted 3 programs that actually matched my budget and visa situation. My advisor Sanjay was super helpful — never felt like I was being pushed into anything.
