Diploma of Business

The Diploma of Business at Wentworth Institute of Higher Education has a course duration of 54 weeks, delivered face-to-face at the Sydney Campus.

The course is structured over two semesters. Semester 1 covers Principles of Accounting 1A (FDN111), Economics for Business (FDN113), Principles of Marketing (FDN114), and Management and Organisation (FDN124). Semester 2 covers Business Law (FDN121), Organizational Behaviour (MAN241), Business Statistics and Data Analysis (FDN123), and Principles in ICT (BUS101). The total credit points for the course is 80.

To be admitted, applicants must meet at least one of the following: a formal qualification considered equivalent to an Australian Year 12, an approved foundation studies program, an International Baccalaureate Diploma, a completed or partially completed course from a university or other accredited tertiary institution, or a completed or partially completed TAFE college course including a TAFE Tertiary Preparation Certificate. International students must also be 18 years of age or over at the time they commence the course.
