Yes. Upon successful completion, the award conferred is recognised in the AQF at Level 5, and it meets AQF requirements that would allow a pathway to further undergraduate studies.
No. The part-time mode is not available to a holder of a student visa who is not a citizen of Australia or New Zealand, or who is not an Australian permanent resident, or who is a temporary resident of Australia. Part-time study is available to domestic students only, running over 4 semesters (2 years).
Students must demonstrate competency in English. Accepted test scores include IELTS Academic 6.0 overall with no band less than 6.0, TOEFL iBT 83 (Reading 13, Writing 21, Listening 12, Speaking 18), PTE Academic 58 overall with no score below 50, C1 Advanced 180 overall, OET C+ in each section, KITE B2 (>450), or Duolingo 115 overall. Test results must have been issued no more than two years prior to the date of application.
The Diploma of Business is delivered at four campus locations: Level 16, 233 Castlereagh St, Sydney NSW 2000; 107 George St, Parramatta NSW 2150; Level 1, 237 Ryrie St, Geelong VIC 3220; and 363 King St, West Melbourne VIC 3003.
The Institute uses authentic assessment principles that may include practical exercises, case studies, presentations, reports, online simulations, essays, and examinations. These may include being done under invigilation.
