The Diploma of Business (Operations) is a full-time course with a duration of 52 weeks, delivered at the Brisbane Campus located at Level 6, 119 Charlotte St, Brisbane QLD 4000.
All students must be at least 18 years old at the time of course application, and successful completion of Australian Year 12 or the Australian/overseas equivalent is mandatory. Additionally, students are required to complete a Language, Literacy, and Numeracy (LLN) test as part of the enrolment process to ensure they have the ability to complete the course.
The course is delivered face-to-face in a classroom setting for 20 hours per week. Delivery includes in-class activities, presentations, discussions, practice exercises, small group and pair work, textbooks and handouts, and multimedia presentations. Assessment methods include written assignments, written and oral questioning, observation, and work-based projects.
Yes, an application can be made for Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) if you believe you have already attained the necessary skills and competencies elsewhere (through work or other study) or hold an equivalent qualification. The institute recognises AQF qualifications and Statements of Attainment issued by any other RTOs and grants credit for these towards an award where applicable. The application for RPL and/or Credit Transfer should be lodged prior to or immediately after enrolment.
