The Diploma of Business (BSB50120) has a total course duration of 52 weeks (including break), with a volume of learning of 1,200 hours. Training is conducted on a full-time basis with a minimum of 20 hours per week.
The tuition fee for the Diploma of Business is AU$25,000, with a non-tuition fee of AU$5,500, bringing the total fee to AU$30,500.
International students must meet one of the following: a minimum IELTS score of 6.0 for direct entry; an IELTS score of 5.5 with an ELICOS course of up to 10 weeks; an IELTS score of 5.0 with an ELICOS course of up to 20 weeks; or an Oxford Placement test score of 61 or higher. Results older than two years are not acceptable.
Successful completion of the Diploma of Business may enable students to apply for the BSB60120 – Advanced Diploma of Business. Employment pathways include roles such as Business Manager, Chief Data Officer, Business Development Manager, Business Services Manager, and Organisational Development Advisor.
To achieve the BSB50120 Diploma of Business, students must complete 12 units of competency in total: 5 core units and 7 elective units. Core units include subjects such as Develop critical thinking in others, Manage budgets and financial plans, and Lead communication in the workplace.
