Entry Requirements

General Requirements

Students must be above 18 years of age while filling up the application form
Applicants should have successfully completed year 12 or secondary studies in applicant's home country equivalent to Australian senior secondary school examination
Mature Age students will also be considered without the minimum education requirements considering they have relevant work experience within the chosen area of study and a demonstrated capacity to meet the course requirements. A minimum of 2 years' experience would normally be expected; however, each case will be reviewed individually with relevant work experience evidence in the form of an employment reference letter on company letterhead, work samples and curriculum vitae submitted will be considered.
International students require a minimum IELTS (General) test score of 6.0 or equivalent for direct entry; or IELTS score of 5.5 or equivalent with an ELICOS course (up to 10 weeks); or IELTS score of 5.0 or equivalent with an ELICOS course (up to 20 weeks). Results older than two years are not acceptable.
Oxford Placement test with score 61 or higher (equivalent to IELTS 5.5) is also accepted.
English language requirement may also be met by providing evidence of studying in English for at least five years in the United Kingdom, the United States of America, Australia, Canada, New Zealand, South Africa or the Republic of Ireland.
Or by providing evidence of citizenship and a valid passport from the United Kingdom, the United States of America, Canada, New Zealand, or the Republic of Ireland.
Or by providing evidence that, within two years of their signed written agreement date, they have successfully completed in Australia a foundation course or a Senior Secondary Certificate of Education or a substantial part of a Certificate IV or higher-level qualification from the Australian Qualifications Framework.
All prospective students are required to complete a Language, Literacy, Numeracy, and Digital (LLND) skills assessment prior to enrolment. Students enrolling in BSB50120 Diploma of Business are required to demonstrate skills at ACSF Level 4 (Performance Level).
Students enrolling on this course must have basic computer skills.
Students are expected to have access to a laptop or computer with the Windows 7 operating system or higher, an active email address, and be contactable by phone and by mail.

The Diploma of Business (BSB50120) has a total course duration of 52 weeks (including holiday breaks), with a volume of learning of 1,210 hours. Training is conducted on a full-time basis with a minimum of 20 hours per week in a classroom with a simulated work environment.

What are the fees for the Diploma of Business at TEDI?

The total course fee for the Diploma of Business is $30,500, which comprises a tuition fee of $25,000 AUD and a non-tuition fee of $5,500 AUD.

What English language test scores do international students need to enrol in this course?

International students require a minimum IELTS (General) score of 6.0 for direct entry.
