Entry Requirements
- Completion of Year 12 certificate (or equivalent in-home country) or higher level qualification
- Students must have successfully completed a Diploma or Advanced Diploma in the BSB Training Package, OR have two years equivalent full-time relevant workplace experience in an operational or leadership role in an enterprise
- English Requirements: IELTS minimum 6.0 (or 5.0 with at least 10 weeks ELICOS, or 4.5 with at least 20 weeks ELICOS)
- English Requirements: TOEFL internet-based test minimum 60 (or 35 with at least 10 weeks ELICOS, or 32 with at least 20 weeks ELICOS)
- English Requirements: Cambridge English: Advanced minimum 169 (or 154 with at least 10 weeks ELICOS, or 147 with at least 20 weeks ELICOS)
- English Requirements: PTE Academic minimum 46 (or 36 with at least 10 weeks ELICOS, or 30 with at least 20 weeks ELICOS)
- English Requirements: Occupational English Test — B for each test component
- English test not required if you are a citizen holding a passport from UK, USA, Canada, NZ or Republic of Ireland
- English test not required if you are a Foreign Affairs or Defence sponsored student or a Secondary Exchange student (AASES)
- English test not required if you have completed at least 5 years' study in English in Australia, UK, USA, Canada, New Zealand, South Africa, or the Republic of Ireland
- English test not required if in the 2 years before applying you completed, in Australia and in English, the Senior Secondary Certificate of Education or a substantial component of an AQF Certificate IV or higher course while holding a student visa
- All students must undertake and satisfactorily complete VCI's LLN Test conducted by a qualified assessor, including a written test and verbal interview, completed on the day of Orientation

What are the tuition fees and other costs for the BSB60120 Advanced Diploma of Business?
The tuition fee is AUD $9,500. In addition, there is an enrolment fee of AUD $300 and a resource fee of AUD $300. The resource fee ensures students receive printed notes, learning materials, and access to Wi-Fi for the duration of the course.
What are the preferred pathways into the BSB60120 Advanced Diploma of Business?
Preferred pathways include completion of the BSB50120 Diploma of Business or another relevant qualification, or substantial vocational experience in a range of environments acting in senior support or technical roles. Learners may also complete individual units of competency and receive a statement of attainment for each unit.
How will I be assessed throughout the Advanced Diploma of Business?
All units of competency will be assessed using a selection of tools including portfolios, observation, reports, verbal questions and answers, written assessments, practical demonstrations or role plays, and presentations, meetings, or discussions.
Is Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) available for this course?
Yes, RPL is available. RPL is the assessment process for recognising competencies gained through previous learning, work, and life experiences. Students who have completed relevant subjects or have practical experience can contact VCI prior to enrolment. To be granted RPL, candidates must provide evidence that is valid, authentic, current, and sufficient to demonstrate competency in the specific subject or subjects.
What payment methods are accepted for course fees?
VCI accepts cash or EFTPOS in person at the campus, credit card (Visa or MasterCard) via PayPal on the student invoice (with a 2% surcharge), bank draft or money order payable to 'Vocational Careers Institute' (in AUD to an Australian bank), and electronic bank transfer (Telegraphic Transfer) from an overseas bank account to the Commonwealth Bank account provided.
