Diploma of Business

The BSB50120 Diploma of Business is suited both to individuals with substantial workplace experience looking to formalise and extend their business skills, and to those with limited vocational experience but sound theoretical business knowledge who want to build further education and employment opportunities. Students develop skills across a wide range of business functions, including developing critical thinking in others, managing budgets and financial plans, managing business resources and risk, developing sustainability policies and procedures, leading workplace communication and diversity and inclusion initiatives, managing project scope and human resources, managing people performance, running effective meetings, and managing organisational customer service. The course is delivered at The Centre of Excellence's Melbourne, Geelong and Adelaide campuses over 48 study weeks plus 6 weeks of holidays (54 weeks total), with new intakes accepted every month. There are no specific prerequisite requirements to enrol. On graduating, students are equipped for roles across administration, marketing, human resources and project management functions in established organisations and startups alike, and the qualification provides a pathway into further business study, including the BSB60120 Advanced Diploma of Business.
