Applicants need to have completed Australian Year 12 or equivalent (for example, BSB40120 Certificate IV in Business). There are no minimum work or industry experience requirements for enrolment. English proficiency requirements include an IELTS overall score of 5.5 or better, TOEFL overall score of 5.5 or better, Pearson (PTE Academic) overall score of 42 or better, or Cambridge English Advanced (CAE) or Proficiency (CPE) with a score of 162 or above.
The course fee is $12,000 for one year. The duration is 52 weeks / 1 year, inclusive of holidays and study breaks.
The course is delivered face to face, 20 hours per week. It consists of two 8-hour days face to face in a classroom setting and 4 hours of coursework. The campus is located at Level 4, 303 Collins St, Melbourne, VIC 3000, and intakes are available monthly.
Assessments may be conducted through a combination of written questions and answers, case studies, project portfolio, and class activities and self-study activities.
On successful completion of this course, the candidate may pursue a Bachelor of Accounting or Bachelor of Business at Lyons College with credit transfer, or alternatively, other business-related courses. In addition, students will be able to access appropriate employment in roles such as Executive Officer, Frontline Manager, Project Manager, Administration Officer, Customer Service Officer, Customer Relationship Officer, Business Development Manager, and Sales Officer.
