Diploma of Business

The UNSW College Diploma of Business is a 12-month pathway program that provides the foundational skills and knowledge to progress directly into the second year of the Bachelor of Commerce at UNSW Sydney - ranked #1 in Australia and #35 globally for Business and Management Studies. It is designed for students who narrowly missed direct entry, or whose prior qualifications aren't recognised by UNSW Sydney, offering a supportive first-year-equivalent curriculum developed in collaboration with UNSW Sydney. Core courses cover business decision making, evidence-based problem solving, collaboration and innovation in business, financial management, global business environments, organisational resources, value creation, and data insights and decisions, alongside a dedicated Communication and Academic Literacy course. You'll study in small classes of around 20 students with up to 20% more teaching time than first year at UNSW Sydney, plus weekly tutor sessions, study clubs and wellbeing support. On successful completion, you progress into your choice of 15 Bachelor of Commerce majors, including Accounting, Finance, Marketing, Business Analytics, Human Resource Management and International Business. Delivered on-campus at the Kensington campus, with access to the same facilities, resources and Career Accelerator opportunities as UNSW Sydney undergraduates.
