Domestic students (Australian/New Zealand citizens, Australian permanent residents, or holders of a permanent humanitarian visa) should complete the Domestic Student Application Form. International students should complete the relevant International Student Application Form — either through an Authorised Agent, directly as a student, or via the Genuine Student (GS) Assessment Form if applying for a 500 Student visa. Completed forms and supporting documents should be submitted to admissions@aih.edu.au.
Yes. AIH has an Advanced Standing Policy that allows credit to be granted for prior formal studies, professional work experience, or life experience toward specific units in the course. Applications for Advanced Standing must normally be submitted no later than one week before the first census date after you commence your course.
AIH provides a range of support services including the Academic Success Team (offering workshops, individualised support, peer mentors, and access to the EBSCO academic database), a Wellbeing Officer providing confidential counselling and stress management support (wellbeing@aih.edu.au), and Student Services Officers as the official point of contact for overseas students (studentservices@aih.edu.au). The Sydney campus library is open Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.
AIH offers a 'Pay as You Learn' payment plan, which is designed to make education more accessible by allowing students to manage tuition fee payments progressively throughout their studies rather than upfront.
