With the VU Block Model®, you study one subject at a time over four-week blocks rather than juggling multiple subjects simultaneously. Classes run for three hours, three days a week, and you receive real-time feedback on assessments, typically finishing a block on a Friday and receiving results the following Monday before moving on to the next subject.
Victoria University typically offers five intake opportunities throughout the year: the start of the year (February), Semester 1 Block 3 (May), mid-year (July), and Semester 2 Block 3 (October). Not all courses are available at every intake, so it is advisable to check the course page or contact VU directly for confirmed start dates.
Yes, you can fast-track your studies by completing optional winter and summer blocks in addition to the standard eight blocks per year, allowing you to complete up to ten blocks across the year. This also provides an opportunity to catch up on any missed units.
Assessments are completed within each four-week block and may include hands-on activities or smaller assessment tasks conducted in the classroom or online, group presentations, and a final product or assessment task at the end of each unit. Results are provided soon after each block finishes to allow you to progress with confidence.
Yes, the VU Block Model® supports both full-time and part-time study. The flexible timetable of three-hour classes, three days a week is designed to make it easier to balance study with work, family, and other commitments.

Honestly I was lost when I first started looking at Australian colleges. There are just too many options and every agent gives you different info. A friend told me about FindTheCourses and within a week I had shortlisted 3 programs that actually matched my budget and visa situation. My advisor Sanjay was super helpful — never felt like I was being pushed into anything.
