Yes. The Diploma of Business Information Systems allows students the opportunity to progress to further study and gain up to 1-year credit to study the Bachelor of Business Information Systems at APIC, or a variety of other bachelor's degree programs.
To qualify for the award, students are required to successfully complete eight (8) core units, equivalent to a total of 48 credit points. Each unit is worth 6 credit points (0.125 EFTSL).
Yes. FEE-HELP is a Commonwealth Government loan available to eligible students enrolled in APIC courses in order to help pay all or part of their tuition fees. FEE-HELP is available for all Units of Study for eligible students. For questions about applying for FEE-HELP, contact programs@apicollege.edu.au.
International students from a non-English speaking background must satisfy one of the following: IELTS Academic overall band score of 5.5 or higher with a minimum of 5.0 in writing and speaking; IBT (Internet-based TOEFL) overall score of 65 with writing minimum 21 and speaking 18; Cambridge CPE or CAE total score of 169 or over with no band below 162 in writing and speaking; or PTE Academic Module with a minimum score of 50 with a minimum writing and speaking score of 42.
Graduates will have technical and theoretical knowledge and concepts with depth in some areas within a field of work and learning. They will develop cognitive and communication skills to identify, analyse, synthesise and act on information from a range of sources; specialist technical and creative skills to express ideas and perspectives; and the ability to transfer and apply theoretical concepts and/or technical and/or creative skills in a range of situations, with personal responsibility and autonomy in performing complex technical operations.
